Just to clarify, this is not a list of what I think are the best stalls for the particular food (although the ones in asteriks are!). They are simply where I see myself eating when I go back home, because they are either near my home or easily accessible.

LOL and I’m missing the tastes of Sydney!

I still haven’t been able to find a Prata Bomb here. Maybe Malaysians have a different name for it. I had a Poori and a Prata but they were each empty. The poori started off inflated and the moment I poked at it with a fork it deflated. That was funny. I love the Roti Tissue – looks like a Witch’s Hat – they made it with a dressing of condensed milk but served it with a savoury curry. Is that a normal combination?

Anyway, we probably have more than half of those dishes listed on your catalogue within a stone’s throw of where I work and live and, if only it were possible to send food as email files, I’d whiz some of it over to you!

bubble&squeak: Haha I completely understand what you are feeling! Aww, I guess the Prata Bomb is a Singapore phenomenon then. Oh yes, Roti Tissue is quite a sight to behold eh? I suppose it’s like a crispy version of a Prata Bomb. Most people eat prata with either curry or sugar, while a rare few have it with a curry+sugar combination – like me! Some find that bizarre, but I love the sweet and savoury combination!

Counting the days til I can get my hands on those food!
